도산의 '갓잇'은 멕시코 음식을 다루는 공간으로
선인장과 황토빛 벽, 콩자갈 바닥이
사막 한가운데와 같은 풍경을 만들어냅니다.

저희는 이 공간의 고유한 특성을 지우는 대신
유랑자를 위한 게르로 구현하기 위해
기존 공간 위에 또 하나의 구조를 세웠습니다.

금속과 로프, 광목천이 엮이며 게르의 형상을 이루었고
천막은 사막의 밤 속 작은 온기를 품은 집이 되었습니다.

천이 걸리며 공간의 경계가 만들어지고
로프를 타고 흐르는 빛은
부드럽게 사막의 어둠과 연결됩니다.

게르의 창 너머로는 광활한 사막이 펼쳐지고
그 속에서 작은 게르는 조용히
은은한 불빛을 내뿜습니다.

이 공간은 잠시 머물렀다가 사라지지만
짧은 밤 동안 우리는 이곳에서
유랑자의 크리스마스를 경험합니다.

Got It in Dosan is a space dedicated to Mexican cuisine
where cacti, earthen walls, and pebbled floors
conjure the feeling of standing in the middle of a desert.

Rather than erasing what made this space its own
we built an entirely new structure upon it
transforming it into a ger for wanderers.

Metal, rope, and unbleached cotton wove together
to form the shape of a ger
and the tent became a small home
holding warmth against the desert night.

As the fabric was hung, boundaries took shape
and light flowing along the ropes
gently merged with the darkness of the desert.

Beyond the window of the ger
a vast desert stretches into the distance
while the small ger sits quietly within it
casting a soft and steady glow.

This space arrives for a moment, then disappears
yet for one brief night
we experience Christmas as a wanderer.
